The Earth is a blackened wasteland of cinder and slurry, its ruins stalked by the undead—twisted amalgams of flesh and machine, remnants of a civilization erased by war and worse. Among them shuffles Elpida, a revenant wrenched from oblivion and spat into this corpse-world by unseen machines still executing some long-dead plan. She leads a ragged handful of other reborn girls, all naked, shivering, and pieced together from horrors beyond understanding. Their bodies are weapons and wounds in one: grafted with alien technology, reshaped by forces that blur the line between necromancy and science. Survival means scavenging, fighting, and clinging to fragile bonds in a world where even companionship is a bloody, trembling thing. But the dead do not rest, and the machines that made them are not done. Elpida must uncover why she was resurrected—before the apocalypse claims her again.
