I was happy. Past tense. Tragic, really. Don’t worry. I’m over it. It’s okay to be sad. No, really. I’m not coping, why do you ask? I’ve found a new family, and—I can’t quite stress this enough—I found magic. It’s like a muscle I can flex and bam! instant fireball. Except, unlike muscles, magic takes up no volume. Which means it isn't slave to the square cube law. So, unless I’m completely off base there is no limit to how powerful I can become. There are also scary monsters in this world, so I suppose it’d be nice to get stronger. But really? I’m quite invested in finding out just how far I can push it.
