Synopsis

Leo Chen’s mundane Costco trip ends when a million-dollar flying sword materializes between the toilet paper and olive oil, dragging him and his dad into a modern xianxia world. Spirit vein taxes and nuclear qi bombs are just the start—Leo soon discovers a second cultivation realm, but he isn’t alone. Three American Foundation Establishment cultivators have the same access, and they’re convinced the best way to train his divine sense is to kill him repeatedly until he’s NFL-ready. The upside? He respawns. The downside? His tiger mom treats the brutal cycle as elite tutoring, shelling out $600,000 a year for spiritual trauma recovery tea if it means an Ivy League future. Now Leo’s divine sense is skyrocketing, catching the eye of the school’s Flying Aces coach, who wants him in America’s most dangerous sport. Dying eight times a day becomes routine—until mandatory military service looms, and the war in the Catacombs turns those practice deaths into grim preparation for the one that won’t reset. The only question is whether Leo’s hard-earned power will save him or make him a bigger target.
